The Allen-Bradley 1756-PAR2 is built to remove that single point of failure. This is a complete ControlLogix redundant power supply kit from Rockwell Automation, bundling everything needed to feed one chassis from two independent supplies.
The kit contains two 1756-PA75R power supplies, two 1756-CPR2 cables, and one 1756-PSCA2 chassis adapter module. Rather than sourcing each piece separately, engineers receive a matched assembly ready for installation.
What the 1756-PAR2 Kit Includes
Each element plays a defined role in the redundant architecture. The 1756-PA75R units accept 85-264VAC input and deliver up to 75 W of output power at 0…60 °C. Current capacity is distributed across the backplane rails: 1.5 A at 1.2VDC, 4 A at 3.3VDC, 13 A at 5.1VDC, and 2.8 A at 24VDC.
The 1756-CPR2 cables connect both supplies for synchronization and internal communication. Each cable measures 0.91 m (3 ft) with a minimum bend radius of 12.7 cm (5 in). The 1756-PSCA2 is a passive chassis adapter that consolidates power from both supplies into the single connector on the ControlLogix backplane.
